Expert for website development
The National Association of Social Workers (NASW) is implementing the project “Young people living in difficult situations and at risk of drop out from the secondary education system in the focus of local Social Welfare services” financed by the Italian Government and implemented by UNICEF in Albania. The project aims to develop a new model for social workers working in the targeted municipalities and in other service providers to engage with young people in difficult situations and help them cope with socio-economic challenges, having in consideration the best interests of the child” principle, gender equality and non-discrimination practices.
In the frame of the project, NASW is looking for an expert for website development.
Duties and deliverables
The Expert will be specifically tasked with the following:
- Create a dedicated section (design & domain) on the NASW website specifically for the project, ensuring it is well-organized and easily accessible to visitors.
- Create a well-structured repository for tools and materials produced as part of the project.
- Establish a user-friendly layout with clear navigation to different sections, including information about the project, project activities, and the resource repository for tools and materials.
Selection criteria
- Knowledge of web design principles and the ability to create an organized and user-friendly online space.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating a history of successful in maintaining and updating website content, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Ability to work collaboratively with project teams, NASW staff, and external partners to ensure that the website space aligns with project objectives.
- Knowledge of digital asset management principles to effectively organize and categorize tools, materials, and resources.
